about

Hologramized Memories was inspired by the first episode of “MEMORIES”, a movie directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, who was released in 1995, “Magnetic Rose” (Director Koji Morimoto). I like the fact that the illusion that actress Eva sleeps in this ship is indistinguishable from holography.

Also, I have seen somewhere on the Internet that it is written as similar to Sem – Area 5 or Jean Michel Jarre – Oxygene Part 2, but both are very favorite songs and their influence isn't denied.
The chorus (human voice) from the first break belongs to Melotron.

Get Lost is a song that expresses the fear of being chased by someone and not knowing when and where they will be attacked. The base is the basic ReBirth RB-338 (Roland TB-303 clone soft sound source developed by Propellerhead), and the square wave base that comes from the second half is a KORG EX-800 plus a chorus effect.

The reason for using RB-338 is that ADJD – Believe, which was released from Poker Flat at that time, was a hit, and there might be a sudden acid boom. Because I thought. Isn't it cool to listen now?
The string that scares fear is sampling.

Stray Sheep is inspired by a short spot commercial that was aired at midnight on Fuji TV in Japan, “The Great Adventure of Stray Sheep”. It seems that it was later made into a program, but what I remember is a short video. I also thought that I wanted to make a sad song because I wanted to increase the width of my repertoire. The bass and melody are KORG MS-20, the arpeggio is Roland JP-8080, and the square wave percussion is KORG ER-1.

In addition, this time, a prototype version of Hologramized Memories that could not be released from Dekathlon at that time was recorded as Unreleased Version. Pad sounds are made with Roland JP-8080.
Also, it was hard work, but I started over with all the mixes from scratch. I think it is interesting to compare it with the released version.
